The question on everybody’s mind!
There is no charge for the initial enquiry meeting to see if we are right for each other. I can travel 10 miles out of York to meet you and if you choose me, I am then happy to travel to your house or area of living for further meetings.
Meetings can be arranged via Zoom/Facetime if it is easier although a chat over a nice pint is much nicer!
My ceremony costs begin at £950 (inc VAT).
For further information on the pricing and for a break-down of costs then please Contact Me and I will send all details of what is included in the charge and an explanation of the T&Cs for all bookings.
Further FAQs that you might be asking!
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO FOR THE LEGAL ‘BITS’?
I am unable to conduct a legal binding ceremony.
For your marriage to be recognised by law, you must complete the legal formalities at a licensed venue. Rates for this begin at £46-50. I recommend completing the legalities before your Celebrant Wedding Ceremony (28 days notice is required) so as to avoid complications on the day and allow more freedom with your personal ceremony. Please contact your local authority for information about legal formalities.
There are restrictions with registrar-led legal ceremonies and although I am happy to work alongside registrars, this may not be the case vice versa!
ARE YOU A HUMANIST CELEBRANT?
I am not a Humanist Celebrant yet as an Independent Celebrant, I am able and happy to follow and abide by Humanist ethics of requested.
WHERE CAN WE HAVE OUR CEREMONY WITH YOU?
ANYWHERE!! In a field, top of a mountain, on a boat, in a woodland, in a shed, in a bark garden, in a building, in a swimming pool………………the list is endless as we can perform ceremonies anywhere and anytime of day! The venue/location does not need to have a legal licence for a celebrant led ceremony. Permission from the venue or location however is required.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes indeed. I have full public liability insurance covered by my FPC Membership.
CAN WE HAVE A CHAT WITH YOU?
This is FREE!!! No charge and no problem!
For initial consultations, we can arrange a meeting via social media for an initial chat or if you are within 5-10 miles of my local area, then a face-to-face meeting is certainly the best way of getting to know each other! Plus any excuse to meet up for a beer or piece of cake is wonderful!
Please note that for initial meetings, I do ask that these are arranged 5-10 miles to where I am based yet any meetings further afield can be arranged but may incur a travel expenses fee.
If you live abroad and are getting married in the UK, social media meetings are the best platform for communication.
